Bancvue

I started this really cool project with Bancvue. They were moving their offices to a new wharehouse and they wanted some murals with graffiti influence all around. Unfortunetly due to budget issues it got pushed back. I did painted this mural which I was pretty happy about, the theme was proposed by the client and I went from there. The spartans in formation represent Bancvue, attacking the big mega bancs that are polluting the market...hopefully I'll get to finish the rest of the project soon.

FunFunFest 2010, Austin Texas

We did a cool mural during the first day of the festival. I painted a portrait of Johnny Depp from Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas because I thought it went well with the party atmosphere. Good thing I finished my piece because it got stolen that same night! High five to the security guards!

Scion Xchange, Austin TX 2010

I recently did a live painting for two days for Scion where I painted a couple of canvas. They put together a little event where people could test drive their cars, and get a free 5$ giftcard for Spider House Cafe. They could then keep that money or donate it for art non profits, in this case Grounded In Music, and Scion would match the donation.

I was invited to participate in a group show called Gallery 13, that will take place March 14th at the Hilton Downtown Austin, along with the Web Awards. The theme for our paintings was number 13. I just happened to read about Benjamin Franklyn and I thought he was quite a character, so I did a portrait of him and played with the 13 virtues he wrote written in gold on his shirt.

Right before moving to the US I did this mural for a public school in Irun (Basque country, North Spain). it's an elementary and junior high school so I decided to represent the different buildings of the school from a different perspective than kids usually see it, adding some elements for both ages such as the skateboarder and the happy little girl.

A couple of friends and I did this mural against violence for the city of Irun. It's just coming out of this dark tunnel that crosses underground a main road, where bad things have happened in the past and most of the people from the neighborhood do not go by after dark. I though a couple of angels "watching" the tunnel would give back a sense of security in that area.
